Precautions For Electric Hoist

(1) Inspection work before use
a. There should be no obstacles or floating objects within the operator's walking range, line of sight, or on the route where heavy objects pass.
b. The manual control button should move accurately and sensitively in the up and down, left and right directions, and the motor and reducer should have no abnormal sounds.
c. The brake should be sensitive and reliable.
d. There should be no foreign objects on the running track of the electric hoist.
e. The upper and lower limiters should move accurately and sensitively.
f. The hook stop nut should be tightened firmly.
g. The hook should rotate flexibly in the horizontal and vertical directions.
h. The hook pulley should rotate flexibly.
i. The wire rope should have no obvious cracks, be arranged neatly on the drum, have no signs of being out of the pulley groove, twisted, or overlapped, and be well lubricated.
j. There should be no abnormalities in the lifting aids.
k. The working environment temperature of the electric hoist is -25～+40℃
l. The electric hoist is not suitable for places filled with corrosive gases or where the relative humidity is greater than 85%. It cannot replace explosion-proof hoists and is not suitable for lifting molten metal or toxic, flammable and explosive items.
(2) The electric hoist shall not be used to lift and unload heavy objects sideways, and overload is prohibited.
(3) During use, the operator should check whether the wire rope has any loose buckles, knots, grooves, wear and tear at any time. If any problems occur, they should be eliminated in time, and the rope guide and limit switch should be checked regularly to ensure they are safe and reliable.
(4) In daily work, the limit switch shall not be used artificially to stop the lifting of heavy objects or stop the operation of the equipment.
(5) After work, turn off the main power switch and cut off the main power supply.
(6) Special maintenance personnel should be assigned to check the main performance and safety status of the electric hoist once a week, and eliminate any faults in time.
